Spielberg To Produce Pilot For ‘Smash’

NBC has given the green light for a new one hour musical TV show, titled Smash. The show was based off of an idea from Steven Spielberg, who will produce the pilot. The show is set to follow, “a cross section of characters who come together to put on a Broadway musical.”

Also a go for NBC is the comedy I Hate That I Love You from Will & Grace alumna Jhoni Marchinko and 20th Century Fox TV.

  1. Where in the source that you referring does it say that Spielberg is to DIRECT the pilot? You do understand that he is a Producer too, right? You are the only once reporting this nonsense and it says right in your article that the director will be Michael Mayer?

If all you are doing are reposting other people’s content should at the very least you try to actually READ IT to make sure you GET IT RIGHT?

    Totally worthless.

  2. It would appear that I made an error while doing this. Just replace the word “Direct” with “Produce.” I apology for the mistake and thank you kindly for being so courteous and polite in informing me.
