Epic ‘Smallville’ Finale To Air On May 13th

Can you believe the time has finally come for Smallville to come to an end? After 10 seasons, the series is finally wrapping up May 13th in an epic two-hour television event. After all, fans wouldn’t be happy with anything less than epic for the finale to this series!

“Paying homage to 10 seasons is no small task, and wrapping up each character and story arc has been extremely important to everyone involved in the show,” said executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders. “We’re excited to be able to make the final moments of Smallville a television event, as the character we’ve grown up with makes his legendary transformation.”

It’s hard for me to believe this is really the end for Smallville. I keep suspecting the network to pull a 7th Heaven and renew it even after the finale episode has aired, but I realize that isn’t going to happen with this series. It’s ran it’s course and delivered many fine episodes to fans over the years. We look forward to the finale, and can’t wait to see what the writers have in-store!

Will you be watching the Smallville finale on May 13th?

  1. It really doesn’t seem like it has been 10 years. I remember watching the pilot on The WB. It still seems to get a decent audience for the CW so I think they could easily do a spin off to keep those fans. Maybe starring Justin Hartley?

  2. I remember I was going to watch the pilot but it was on at the same time as Roswell so I couldn’t be doing that. haha 🙂 It doesn’t seem like 10 years ago… yet it does kinda seem like a lifetime ago 🙂

  3. Probably because those seasons in the middle that focused on Lana seemed to last a lifetime… 😉 I couldn’t take it anymore and had to stop watching.
