Aaron Ashmore Is Headed To ‘Warehouse 13’

Aaron Ashmore may have been killed off Smallville in 2009, but that doesn’t mean he’s giving up on the supernatural just yet!

Ashmore has signed on to Syfy’s Warehouse 13 to play ATF agent Steve Jinks. Unlike his Smallville role as reporter Jimmy Olsen, Ashmore will play an agent who boasts at least one special power: the ability to tell when somebody is lying.

Recruited by Mrs. Frederic(CCH Pounder), Jinks will be Pete’s new partner in obtaining artifacts for safekeeping in the Warehouse. Ashmore is currently only signed on temporarily due to the absent Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly), but we all know that one good performance could land him a permanent spot on the show! Considering he has been pretty much just hanging around Hollywood since his Smallville days [with exceptions of CSI: NY, In Plain Sight, and Fringe guest spots], fans are all hoping Agent Jinks will stick around.

Warehouse 13 kicks off Season 3 this summer with 13 new episodes.
