Fox Casts Familiar Faces For New Comedy ‘Family Album’

After the success of Raising Hope, Fox is bringing yet another domestic comedy to the table entitled Family Album. And this time around, the faces are all too familiar!

The network has cast Mike O’Malley and Rachael Harris [who has popped up on numerous hit shows we all know and love] as a married couple for their new comedy pilot Family Album. The project centers on Dave (O’Malley), an ex-jock who returns from a family vacation a new man, inspired to “bond the crap out of his family.” Harris will play his wife and a stay-at-home mom.

Fans know O’ Malley for his role as Burt Hummel on the show that has the world by storm [or rather song], Glee. Other credits for the actor include appearances on TV shows Parenthood, My Name Is Earl and Yes, Dear. While Rachel Harris isn’t a regular on any current tv series, she has popped up on many of our favorite shows such as $#*! My Dad Says, Modern Family, My Boys, and Desperate Housewives.

The Family Album pilot is to be directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum).
