M. Night Shyamalan’s next movie will be a thriller entitled Sundowning. The project is set to be a low-budget movie starring Kathryn Hahn (Parks and Recreation) and Ed Oxenbould (Puberty Blues). Hahn will be playing a single mother with two kids (one to be played by Oxenbould) who visit their grandparents before things go bad.
The film is described as a “psychological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with some form of dementia. Symptoms also include agitation and mood swings.” Sundowning is close to wrapping production in Shyamalan’s home state of Pennsylvania. He produced the film with Marc Bienstock and Ashwin Rajan.
