ABC has the script in hand for Marvel’s potential Agent Carter pilot. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have stated that they have turned in the script for the pilot, which would see Hayley Atwell returning to the role of Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger and the Agent Carter one-shot.
They added that there are plans for Howard Stark to be a recurring character if the show is picked up and Dominic Cooper can be brought back in. They added that it would be a limited series with thirteen episodes per season, an increasingly-common network tactic that has been used on shows like The Following, Sleepy Hollow and the upcoming 24: Live Another Day. McFeely said that it may be “even less. It would be a limited series and you would wrap up that one bad guy and that one case, and then if you like it we’ll do it again next year and it’s 1947.”
