Off The Map’s Rachelle Lefevre Cast In NBC Pilot The Crossing

An NBC network rep is confirming that Rachelle Lefevre has snagged the lead female role in the NBC pilot, The Crossing.

St. Elsewhere co-creator Josh Brand is noted as the writer of this drama series, which will be set in post-Civil War Missouri. The story centers itself around Civil War soldier Jason, a man considered the ‘savior’ of a complicated town he steps into. Lefevre will play Anna, a war widow who finds herself in a rather complicated affair with Jason.

The 32-year-old actress is also committed to the ABC series Off the Map, and fans of her character on that show need not worry….if the mid-season medical drama is renewed for a second season, it has been confirmed that Lefevre will remain on the show. To add reassurance to fans’ minds, Lefevre has also stated that her work on the NBC drama The Crossing will “come second” to Off The Map‘s priority production work.

However, if the ABC series, which has been struggling to find a steady audience, is canceled, it’s good to know that we’ll be seeing Lefevre around the tube!
