John Stamos Could Replace Charlie Sheen On ‘Two And A Half Men’

When asked about possibly replacing Charlie Sheen on Two And A Half Men, John Stamos denied it. But now it appears as though he might be doing it after all.

Word is that CBS President and CEO Les Moonves has been approaching him personally to take over on the sitcom.

A source says: “They were at the bar talking and Les asked John if he’d be interested in replacing Charlie. It wouldn’t be to play Charlie’s character but they talked more about introducing a new character.”

  1. Yeah I don’t know either…. and I love Uncle Jessie. Usually when you get rid of a main character – either because you can’t deal with them or they are a huge pain … that’s it for the show. A great example – The O.C. with Mischa Barton.

  2. I agree, I’m not sure he could pull it off. Definitely could not do the ‘bad boy’ type of role. I do think it would be interesting if it did work though just because the same thing happened when Michael J. Fox left ‘Spin City’ and Charlie Sheen came in and it was successful. It would be funny if it happened back to Sheen.
