‘Gotham’ Finds its Riddler
Cory Michael Smith (Olive Kitteridge) has been cast as Edward Nygma, the man who will become the Riddler, in the new FOX series Gotham.
The series was created and will be run by Bruno Heller (Rome). Nygma is a “brilliant young forensic scientist working for Gotham PD” and speaks in a “cryptic language”. He is described as inquisitive, eccentric, outgoing and socially awkward.
The rest of the cast includes Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), Jada Pinkett Smith (new character and gangster Fish Mooney), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth) and Robin Lord Taylor (The Penguin).
