ABC has announced the premiere date for Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition!
The show will premiere Monday, May 30 at 10/9c, following The Bachelorette. Each episode will chronicle a year in the life of an overweight individual who makes it a goal to lose half their body weight. Like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the host will presumably surprise the lucky individuals with everything they need to turn it all around and make it happen [though, show creators are making it very clear that they are doing this in the safest way possible over a year’s span].
Trainer Chris Powell, best known for his work on TLC’s The 650-Pound Virgin, will help coach those being documented.
