Miley Cyrus Cancels Remainder of U.S. Tour

Miley Cyrus has cancelled the remainder of her U.S. tour as she recovers from a severe allergic reaction.

Cyrus postponed three shows in Missouri, and her native Nashville, Tennessee, last week after she was hospitalized following an “extreme” reaction to antibiotics she was taking for a sinus infection.

Cyrus has now decided to postpone all the upcoming dates on the American leg of her Bangerz trek, rescheduling them for August.

A statement posted on her official website reads, “All remaining U.S. dates on the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour have been postponed. Miley is continuing to recover from the severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15. Existing tickets will be honored on the new dates, which include previously cancelled and postponed dates.”

Cyrus has made her marijuana use no secret, but a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics she was taking for a sinus infection has forced her to miss out on this year’s festivities yesterday, a date which has a special meaning to pot smokers due to its link to 4.20pm, the time when marijuana lovers like to get high.

An agitated Cyrus took to Twitter.com and wrote, “Boutta (sic) be the wackest 4/20 ever

“Happy 420/ Easter! I’ll be where I’ve been the passed (sic) week. In bed. Crying. NOT stoned. wackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk (sic).”

The U.S. tour will resume in New York on 1 August. She is still expected to continue with the European leg of the jaunt, which kicks off on May 2nd in Amsterdam, Holland.
