Zack Snyder to Direct ‘Justice League’

Warner Bros. has detailed the plans for a Justice League movie directed by Zack Snyder.

According reports The Justice League will follow the events in Batman vs. Superman and will feature Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said, “It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman vs. Batman will lead into Justice League.’”

There is currently no release date set, but a script is in development. It’s also unknown which other DC superheroes will join the roster in the Justice League film in addition to the confirmed appearances of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. It’s likely that the recent casting of Ray Fisher as Cyborg for Batman vs. Superman indicates that we’ll see the character in the Justice League, but right now there’s no way to know for sure.

As far as a Wonder Woman stand-alone film it appears nothing has been set up yet. Sue Kroll, WB’s president of worldwide marketing, said, “With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.”
