CBS Cancels ‘$#*! My Dad Says’, ‘Mad Love’, and ‘The Defenders’

CBS has cancelled The Defenders, $#*! My Dad Says and Mad Love to make way for new shows on its 2011-2012 schedule.

None of these are considered surprised. The Defenders and Mad Love both performed poorly in the ratings, while $#*! My Dad Says performed relatively well but fell victim to a CBS practice of canceling their lowest-rated comedies even if ratings are okay.

  1. I’m sad to see ‘mad Love’ go 🙁 I was really enjoying that show. There really isn’t many comedies I’ve enjoyed lately so…that sucks.

  2. i really enjoyed mad love too. i love watching tyler labine and judy greer together on the show. such a funny/entertaining show to watch

  3. I currently only watch two shows on CBS, How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory – I should really give some of their other comedies a try. Have to admit I didn’t get a chance to see any of these that were cancelled.

  4. Tyler Labine and Judy Greer on the show were hilarious! They were the reason I loved it so much. Same here Emma, HIMYM and TBBT are the only comedies I watch on CBS (or any station) and they still are the best!

  5. they were the reason why i loved the show so much too. and i follow tyler labine on twitter and his love for the show just made me love it more too. mad love was such a great show. tonight is the finale.

  6. Aw! I don’t follow him on twitter, but I love when the actors are very passionate about their shows and the characters they play. It makes you enjoy and appreciate the show even more.
