ABC Renews ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and Adds New Marvel Series

ABC has given Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. a second season.

The network, which traditionally holds off on all of its renewals until the last moment, followed suit this year by giving a renewal to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and picked up the Marvel period series Agent Carter starring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avengers.
