‘True Blood’ May End With Season 5

Show creator Alan Ball says that True Blood may not continue past season five. Ball has confirmed that he is in negotiations for a fifth season but that he may not continue the show beyond that.

“I don’t know if I have any left in me after that,” he said. “We’ll see .. I think if we did 13 seasons we’d have to address why vampires are aging. Maybe there would be a bad batch of Tru Blood… With the supernatural thing you can always go places storywise that you couldn’t go on another show.”

The show’s fourth season kicks off this Sunday, and we can’t wait! Can you?

  2. Yeah I’m not ready to say goodbye either – they’ve got a lot more material with the books they can work with, and I’d love to see them get into some of the later books!
