B.D. Wong Leaving ‘Law & Order: SVU’ For ‘Awake’

B.D. Wong will not be returning to Law & Order: SVU for its thirteenth season. Instead, Wong will take on a role in NBC’s midseason drama Awake.

“I actually do not return for Season 13. I am jumping to Awake! It’s awesome! I don’t know if or when I’ll be back [on SVU]! It was amazing to have such a cool job for 11 years and to be a real NY Actor.” Wong commented.

Awake, which stars Jason Isaacs, features Wong playing a psychiatrist.
