HBO Releases ‘True Blood’ Final Season Poster
It’s hard to believe that it’s been seven years since True Blood first premiered on HBO. The series was groundbreaking for not only HBO but also for fans… and for the supernatural genre. I’d argue that it was True Blood that brought vampires back into the mainstream again after the lull that occurred when Buffy The Vampire Slayer ended.
As we enter into the seventh and final season of True Blood on June 22nd, fans will finally learn if Sookie Stackhouse’s storyline will play out the way that it did in the bestselling book series from which the series is based (by Charlaine Harris).
HBO released the poster art for the final season today along with the final season tagline, “True to the End.” The tagline is also an online destination, http://www.truetotheend.com/ which will celebrate True Blood fans’ favorite moments from prior seasons, spotlight beloved characters, spark and curate viewer discussion and send the series off in style.
