Woody Harrelson treated pop star Lorde to a special visit of The Hunger Games movie set in Berlin, Germany on Thursday after taking a break from filming to attend her concert in the city.
The True Detective star, who plays Haymitch Abernathy in the film adaptations, is currently on location in Berlin to shoot The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and he was among those in the audience at the Columbia Halle venue as Lorde made her concert debut in the country.
Sources tell press that Harrelson was so impressed by the 17 year old, he later went backstage and invited the Royals hitmaker to take a tour of the film set, which is located nearby at the site of the former Tempelhof Airport. She also met members of the cast and crew, which includes the actor’s co-stars Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.
Lorde made no mention of the private set tour on her Twitter.com page after the gig, but tweeted on Friday, “berlin, i (sic) had so much fun playing for you last night. now we leave as the sun shines”.
Harrelson was joined at the show by his daughter Deni, 21, who was visiting her father after a two-month trip to India.
