Glenn Mazzara Taking Over ‘The Walking Dead’

Executive Producer Glenn Mazzara will replace Frank Darabont as showrunner for The Walking Dead after the surprising news that Darabont was leaving the series.

Mazzara first joined the show by freelance writing an episode in the first season, but was hired as Darabont’s second-in-command this year. He’s also worked on the TV series for Crash, The Shield, and Hawthorne.
