SyFy Renews ‘Bitten’ for Season Two

SyFy has announced that it has picked up the rights for the second season of Bitten. The werewolf-themed drama will return to the network for a ten-episode run in 2015, with production kicking off this summer in Toronto.

The series is based on the Women of the Otherworld novels by Kelley Armstrong and stars Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) as Elena Michaels, the lone female werewolf in existence. During its first season on SyFy the show drew an average of 1.1 million viewers.

SVP of programming Chris Regina said, “Bitten is a fast-paced and edgy series which has found a growing and passionate fan base on our channel. We’re delighted to bring the series back to Syfy next year.”
