Simon Pegg has invited fans to dress up as zombies and trudge across London as part of an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of his comedy horror film Shaun of the Dead.
The Star Trek actor has thrown his support behind the Zombie Walk, a fancy dress march through the streets of Crouch End in north London.
The walk on Saturday will culminate in a screening of Pegg’s hit zombie movie to mark a decade since its 2004 release.
Pegg, who shot the movie around Crouch End, has now endorsed the event in a post on his Twitter.com page and encouraged fans of the film to dress up.
He writes, “This Saturday, 8.30pm. Crouch End Zombie Walk! Meet at The Maynard Pub, then shamble to outdoor screening of Shaun of the Dead at 9.30pm Go!”
