Suspect in Sandra Bullock Break-In Charged
The man suspected of attempting to break into Sandra Bullock’s Los Angeles home has been formally charged with felony burglary, stalking and gun possession.
Joshua Corbett was taken into custody early on Sunday after he was found reportedly trying to gain access to the actress’ property while she was inside, hours after she attended the Guys Choice Awards in Culver City, California on Saturday.
The 39 year old was initially booked for residential burglary, but now police have filed additional counts of stalking and possession of a machine gun against the accused intruder.
According to TMZ, Corbett did not have the weapon on him at the time of his arrest; cops discovered it among his possessions after the incident.
Bullock obtained an emergency restraining order against Corbett on Sunday amid fears for her and her young son Louis’ safety. The tot was not present during the scary incident as he was staying with a nanny.
Corbett is currently being held on $50,000.
