Jason Momoa Might Play Aquaman

Some rumors about the future of the DC Universe on film are making the rounds online. A new rumor reports that actor Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) is in line to appear as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the following Justice League film.

Aquaman’s appearance will be based on repercussions from the events of Man of Steel. Specifically, Aquaman will not be happy about what General Zod’s World Engine did to the Indian Ocean. The plan is apparently to have Aquaman make an appearance in Dawn of Justice before he returns in Justice League.

However, conflicting reports state that Aquaman would only later debut in the Justice League movie and not Dawn of Justice. Only time will tell.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is due out on May 6, 2016. Justice League is scheduled for a May 2017 release.
