Get ready to see more Emilia Clarke coming to a screen near you, as the actress has been cast as the lead in the indie psychological thriller, Voice From the Stone.
The film is based on an Italian novel entitled La Voce Della Pietra and Eric D. Howell will be making his directorial debut with the project.
The plot, according the The Hollywood Reporter, is as follows:
Set in 1950s Tuscany, Voice From the Stone centers on a nurse (Clarke) who is helping a boy through the trauma of his mother’s sudden death. As she works with the troubled child, she becomes ensnared by a malevolent force inside the family’s castle.
Emilia is currently working on the upcoming Terminator: Genesis where she’ll star as Sarah Connor alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. Shooting for Voice From the Stone is set to begin in Italy this September.
