‘True Blood’ Star Anna Paquin Laughs Off “Boozy Breakdown”

Anna Paquin has laughed off a tabloid report suggesting she and her husband Stephen Moyer were involved in a bust-up after attending the Hollywood premiere of the latest season of hit TV show True Blood.

Sources told America’s OK! magazine the Oscar winner had a “boozy breakdown” at the afterparty last week, when she allegedly began “stumbling and slurring her words”.

Her behavior reportedly angered Moyer and one insider told the publication, “You could hear him say, ‘Why tonight? Out of all the events to get wasted at, you pick the most important night of the show!'”

However, Paquin, who met the British actor on the set of the vampire drama, has since taken to Twitter.com to dismiss the false tale, revealing the couple had actually skipped the afterparty and headed back to its hotel.

She wrote:

Paquin and Moyer wed in 2010 and are parents to 21-month-old twins Poppy and Charlie.
