‘The Walking Dead’ Returns to Downtown Atlanta for Filming (No Spoilers)

It’s been awhile since the hit AMC series The Walking Dead has filmed in downtown Atlanta, but that will change this Thursday and next Monday!

AMC sent out the below announcement on June 26 to businesses and residents around 58 Edgewood Avenue along with the Hurt Building in downtown Atlanta. The scenes will require a number of lane closures so that the production can park equipment trucks on the streets listed in the announcement below. No word on which cast members will be filming on these dates or if they will be filming outside where the public can see them, but we’ll keep you posted on what we hear.

We do know that Insurgent, the sequel to this spring’s Divergent, was filming in these areas a little less than two weeks ago.
