Ricky Martin And Gloria Estefan To Guest Star On ‘Glee’

Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan coming to Glee? You heard right! Ryan Murphy stated that this season of Glee would not be one where lots of celebrities guest star, but that may be changing next year….

Ricky Martin is in negotiations with Fox to guest star on the show next season. He will headline two big musical numbers and his character is described as “the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio.”

Martin would be on the show around January of 2013.

Latina music star Gloria Estefan is also in talks to join Glee. She is in negotiations to play the mother of Santana (Naya Rivera), who came out of the closet as a lesbian in the most recent episode.

The show does plan on using some of Estefan’s songs in the episode she appears in.
