Shameless: A New Life In Costa Rica?

Throughout the first season of Shameless, we saw a lot of hardship, but it all usually ended well with a hint of humor and close family ties. When the end of the season approached, Steve was trying to convince Fiona to leave town and come join him in Costa Rica. Sounds like an offer that’s pretty hard to say no to doesn’t it?

Fiona goes back and forth on her decision a couple times, and eventually decides to stay put and continue the family life. In promotion of the release of Season 1 on DVD, we wanted to ask fans – if you were in her situation, what would you do? Would you leave your ‘no collar’ Shameless life but abandon your family to start anew? Or would you let your love and a chance at renewal slip away?

If it was us – a new life in some place beautiful like Costa Rica… with someone we love – we’d probably go. Life is short, and you have to make the most of it. Perhaps in Fiona’s case, had she left, it might have forced other people in the family to step up and take more responsibility. What do you guys think? Sound off below in our comment section!

    I love this show! I would make him wait for me to get things situated so I could feel good about going. If I would go with him he should be willing to wait for me!
