John Goodman Joining Roseanne’s New NBC Sitcom ‘Downwardly Mobile’

John Goodman is in talks to join Roseanne Barr’s return to network TV. Goodman is in final negotiations to co-star on Downwardly Mobile, Roseanne’s pilot at NBC that sees her as the proprietor of a mobile home park who helps all her residents.

Goodman would play a man who works at the park and “has a buddy relationship with Barr’s character.” Goodman was most recently seen in Oscar heavy The Artist.
