Calling All Gladiators! Portia De Rossi Joins ‘Scandal’ Season 4 Cast

Portia De Rossi is the newest addition to the cast of Scandal and her wife Ellen Degeneres was more than happy to break the news today.

Ellen tweeted casting confirmation out, along with a funny quip about it being “annoying when people brag on twitter.”

The details of Portia’s role are apparently “top secret,” so we don’t know whether Portia will be one of Olivia Pope’s new Gladiators (since Harrison will be leaving a vacancy this season) or if she’ll be joining Papa Pope and B613, or someone else entirely. One thing’s for sure, I hope she’s been working on her monologuing skills because Shonda hands those out like Oprah does cars!
