‘Bates Motel’ Releases Exclusive Video at Comic-Con 2014

The cast and producers of Bates Motel spoke to fans yesterday at Comic-Con 2014 and gave fans an inside look at A&E’s hit new thriller.

Series stars Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Olivia Cooke and Nestor Carbonell were joined by executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin for the Comic-Con 2014 panel. Fans had the opportunity to listen to reminisce on season 2, hear behind-the-scenes stories from set and were given a look at what’s coming up for Norma and the Bates cast in season 3.

According to executive producer Carlton Cuse,”Good scripts alone do not make for a good television show, you need more…you need alchemy, and that starts with a great cast.” The reel then takes a different turn, showing the stars in attendance at the panel, as well as the sorely missed Max Thieriot, “auditioning” for their Bates Motel roles. Included are a smoking Olivia Cooke, a screaming Vera Farmiga and Nestor Carbonell trying to audition for the role of Norman because he looks “just like Anthony Perkins, in case you haven’t noticed.” Thieriot was featured shortly with the shortest audition tape ever, but with good reason.
