Ian Somerhalder Talks ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 6: Is Bamon in the Works?

FanBolt and other press had the opportunity to discuss the new season of The Vampire Diaries with Ian Somerhalder at San Diego Comic-Con 2014! With the new season coming up, press had lots to discuss in regards to Somerhalder’s character, Damon.

Relationships seemed to be the main theme in the press room. Topics tossed around included Damon and Bonnie’s relationship in this new dimension, along with how Damon’s death will affect his relationship with Elena. Somerhalder stressed that they’ve “told these stories for a long time and what’s interesting is that it’s gonna change and create all these new dynamics.”

Although he couldn’t spill much on the new season, it is clear that Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie, will be working closely with Ian on the set and that both actors are excited about this new development.
