Paul Wesley Talks ‘The Vampire Diaries’: How Is Stefan Dealing With Damon’s Death?

FanBolt sat down with Paul Wesley who plays Stefan Salvatore on the hit CW series, The Vampire Diaries. Stefan had a tough time during season five, what with being trapped in a coffin under water for months, fighting off travelers who wanted his blood, and dying (and coming back only to lose his brother in the process). Press had a lot to discuss with Wesley, and he surely delivered.

Topics tossed around included his Teen Choice nomination, favorite ‘Silas’ moments, along with possible Caroline/Stefan hookups? Wesley also teased on how Stefan is dealing with the deaths of Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham).

He voiced that, “he’s decided to shut off his emotions” and that “you think he’s searching for his brother, but he’s lying to everyone.”
