Clancy Brown Joins CW’s ‘The Flash’

Character actor Clancy Brown, probably best known for his role of Captain Hadley in The Shawshank Redemption, will play General Wade Eiling on The Flash.

Brown will have his first appearance in episode five, which also guest stars Kelly Frye as super=villainess Plastique.

Eiling is a character from the comics, first seen in Captain Atom in 1987. Eiling is involved in the origins of Captain Atom and Major Force. In the series, he is leading a team to track down Plastique with the aim of using her as a living weapon.

The Flash premieres on October 7th on The CW.
