Taylor Swift, Katie Holmes and Odeya Rush at ‘The Giver’ Premiere in NYC

The Giver hosted its New York premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater earlier this week. Cast members Odeya Rush, Brenton Thwaites, Acacia Brinley, Jeff Bridges, Katie Holmes and Taylor Swift all looked stunning walking the red carpet.

Holmes was wearing a pale pink Zac Posen dress while newcomer Rush wore a beautiful red Georges Hobeika Couture gown. Swift was in a Monique Lhuillier dress and Casadei heels.

Speaking of Swift, she has received much praise from her co-stars on her work in film which hits theaters this Friday. Jeff Bridges gave her his seal of approval, recently telling press how great she was to work with on the film.

“Her first day of work was right on the heels of arriving in Capetown. She was exhausted but she was such a pro and so up for being involved and playing and took right to the acting. I hope she continues the acting. She’s very talented, as well as being a great songwriter and performer,” Bridges commented. “I believe she was Harvey Weinstein’s idea. He said, ‘Well, you’re being taught piano here’, and somebody who would be great for that part is Taylor. She came into his mind and I’m so glad she stepped on board. She had read the book and was a big fan. She’s terrific.”
