Iggy Azalea Blames Jennifer Lopez for MTV VMA’s Pre-Party Fall

Iggy Azalea has placed the blame on pal Jennifer Lopez for predicting she would fall while performing on stage one day.

The rapper was performing her hit “Fancy” at a MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert on Friday night when she took a tumble, but walked away unscathed.

Before performing for the main show on Sunday, Azalea told Entertainment Tonight that her friend Lopez is the real reason she fell off stage.

She explained, “We did a show together… and my microphone wasn’t switched on. And I said, ‘At least I didn’t fall over. And she said, ‘It’ll happen to you one day.’

“I invited her to watch that show, and I fell off the stage. I was like, ‘You’re bad luck!'”

Azalea not only managed to stay onstage while performing “Black Widow” with Rita Ora at the main prizegiving, she also walked away with a trophy for Best Pop Video for “Problem,” her collaboration with Ariana Grande.
