‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Actor Ansel Elgort and High School Sweetheart Call It Quits

The Fault in Our Stars star Ansel Elgort has reportedly split from his longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan.

The heartthrob and his high school sweetheart have parted ways, according to Us Weekly.

An insider tells the publication that Elgort’s busy schedule ultimately led to their demise, saying, “They tried to navigate his commitments, but between filming and press for the movies, it got difficult.”

The source adds that their romance was “young love” and the split was amicable.

The actor, who has spent the past few months working on the sequel to Divergent, met Komyshan while they were attending the acclaimed Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York.

Dancer Komyshan graduated earlier this year, in the same class as Madonna’s daughter Lourdes.
