Carrie Underwood Song ‘Two Black Cadillacs’ Being Developed into TV Series

Country star Carrie Underwood ‘s hit song “Two Black Cadillacs” is set to be developed into a TV series.

The singer has teamed up with veteran Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer to executive produce a six-hour limited event series based on her 2012 best-selling single. KristieAnne Reed will also co-executive produce the series, which will reportedly air on FOX.

According to Rolling Stone, the pilot script was written by Ildy Modrovich (CSI: Miami, Necessary Roughness), and sticks closely to the theme of the song. It is set in the modern-day south and tells the story of a wife and mistress who find out about one another and then conspire to murder the cheating husband.

The song was written by Underwood, Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear.

This will be Carrie’s first foray into television production.

A release date for the new TV series has yet to be revealed.
