Eminem Raps his Way into Guinness World Records with ‘Rap God’

Hip-hop superstar Eminem has rhymed his way into the Guinness World Records for the most words in a hit song with his appropriately-titled single “Rap God”.

The star rapped his way through 1,560 words in just six minutes and four seconds on the track, averaging 4.28 words per second.

The feat lands him a spot in the upcoming 60th anniversary of the famous record book, alongside fellow new additions Metallica, whose December gig in Antarctica made the heavy rockers the first group to perform concerts on all seven continents.

One Direction are also new record holders, becoming the first act to debut their first three albums atop the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, while Miley Cyrus is named the most searched-for pop star on the Internet, Katy Perry is the musician with the most Twitter followers and Shakira has garnered the most ‘likes’ on Facebook.
