Inside Scoop: What To Expect On The ‘Necessary Roughness’ Season 3 Premiere

Necessary Roughness returns with all-new episodes this summer that is sure to keep viewers glued to their television sets. Dr. Dani Santino’s (Callie Thorne) life is in shambles and in the upcoming third season of USA Network’s football-themed drama it only gets worse. Not only did Dani get the boot from the Hawks, her teenage son Ray Jay (Patrick Johnson) suddenly announced that he’d be fleeing to Paris with an older woman (Danielle Panabaker), and she somehow found herself in the middle of a love triangle with her co-workers Matt (Marc Blucas) and Nico (Scott Cohen).

If that’s not enough, she must now learn to adjust to the new direction in which her crazy life is headed, while counseling high-profile clients for her new boss. His name is Connor McClane (John Stamos), and he’s essentially the “Jay-Z of Roc Nation Sports.” While her new job description is unclear at the moment, one thing is for certain: it’s a whole different ball game with even more demands that require much more responsibility Add to that her tumultuous relationship with her kids, you begin to understand why she’s so feisty most of the time.

Here’s a spoiler-free sneak peek of 7 things Necessary Roughness fans can expect during the June 12th the premiere episode at 10p:

1) One of the main characters that left Long Island the winter has returned and he’s got a new gig.
2) The relationship between Dr. D. and Matt changes drastically.
3) TK (Mechad Brooks) is even more conflicted now than he was during the winter episodes.
4) The Hawks are under new management.
5) There’s also a new team therapist with a lot less personality than Dr. Santino.
6) John Stamos isn’t the only new cast member. David Andrews and Jonathan Keltz will also be making guest appearances.
7) The series may or may not be venturing into other sports industries besides the NFL.
