Mary-Louise Parker Writing First Memoir Surrounding Love Life

Mary-Louise Parker is set to lift the lid on her drama-filled love life in her first memoir.

The former Weeds star has signed a deal with Simon & Schuster imprint Scribner to share stories with fans in the form of a series of letters to the “significant men in her life”, which is expected to detail her relationships with her former fiance, Watchmen’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan, singer Charlie Mars and actor Billy Crudup, who famously left Parker when she was seven months pregnant with their now-10-year-old son William Atticus.

A statement from Scribner chief Nan Graham reads, “Scribner loves a great memoirist, and Mary-Louise Parker is one. Her writing is magnificent; the conceit – a memoir in letters to men – is wholly original and brilliantly executed.”

Dear Mr. You is due for release next fall.
