NBC To Adapt BBC’s ‘Cuckoo’ With Andy Samberg

NBC has given a pilot commitment to a US remake of BBC Three’s Cuckoo, which stars Andy Samberg.

The series follows a normal family who sees their daughter return from a summer abroad with an unusual man named Cuckoo. UK writers Robin French and Kieron Quirke will be the executive producers and writers. Tim Long (The Simpsons) will be the executive producer and showrunner. Cuckoo executive producers Ash Atalla and Dan Hine will produce the remake.
