Victor Garber Joins ‘The Flash’ as Robbie Amell’s Other Half

Producers of the new hit The CW tv series The Flash have recruited veteran actor Victor Garber to play Dr. Martin Stein.

The former Alias star has signed on for a recurring role as the physicist half of the Justice League duo Firestorm in the adaptation.

In the DC Comics series, Stein becomes fused together with maintenance worker Ronnie Raymond following a nuclear accident. Robbie Amell has been cast as Raymond, the other half of Firestorm.

Producers have also announced that actor Andy Mientus will play Hartley Rathaway, aka villain the Pied Piper – The Flash’s nemesis.

The show, starring Grant Gustin as the speedy hero, pulled in huge ratings when it debuted this past Tuesday night , becoming The CW’s most watched and highest rated series launch in five years.
