Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup: ‘Vacation,’ ‘The Originals’ and More!

Here’s your Atlanta Weekly Filming Roundup for the week of October 5th- October 11th:

Coming Soon

• The Nice Guys, starring Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe, Angourie Rice and Margaret Qualley, will begin filming in November.

• Captain America 3 is scheduled to start filming in Atlanta in April.

Currently in Production

• The Vacation reboot/sequel  was spotted filming around Piedmont this week and  yesterday at the Yaarab Temple on Ponce in Atlanta

• The Originals  was seen filming at Carmichael House in downtown Jackson

• Ant-Man has reportedly scouted the Marietta area

• Ride Along 2 was spotted filming by Salem Road off I-20

• Musical biopic Bolden! was seen  filming Midtown

• Hindsight, the new VH1 series, filmed in the Marietta Square

• Red Band Society  filmed at No Mas Hacienda & Cantina this week

Celebrity Sightings

• Chloe Grace Moretz, stars from the cast of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Real Housewives of Atlanta and more showed up for the premiere of Cirque du Soleil: Amaluna ( FanBolt Editor-in-Chief and I had the chance to attend the event and spotted The Originals‘ Charles Michael Davis, Danielle Campbell and Daniel Gillies!)

• Chevy Chase and Beverly DeAngelo are in town filming Vacation
