‘The Blacklist’ Renewed for Season 2
The Blacklist has been renewed by NBC for a 22-episode second season. The series stars James Spader.
In the most recent episode, it kept 100% of its Voice lead-in rating and had its best numbers since its premiere in total audience and the 18-49 demographic. Eight weeks in, it’s the most-watched new drama for NBC in 19 years. It also has Live+7 DVR gains, growing by a record 6.6 million viewers in one week to a total audience of 16.93 mil.
It was given a full-season pick-up in early October after two airings. Season 1 returns with new episodes on January 13, 2014.
Best new drama on TV! Nice to see James Spader back in a series.
