Ariana Grande Cancels Trip to Spain Due to Ebola Outbreak Fears

Ariana Grande has reportedly cancelled a trip to Spain amid fears of an Ebola outbreak in the country.

The “Problem” hitmaker’s team is believed to have scrapped her planned press tour shortly after it emerged that four suspected cases of the disease have been discovered there since the outbreak erupted in West Africa earlier this year.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, “Ariana’s promo trip had to be cancelled – her team weren’t prepared to take any chances during the incubation period… of course, some people might think it’s an overreaction but everyone agreed it was the right decision… It’s nothing against her Spanish fans and she was conscious to make sure the visit was put back in the diary in the future.

“Ariana headed to Paris instead and now won’t get round to visiting Spain until November at the earliest, if at all this year.”

The four suspected cases in Spain tested negative. The Ebola outbreak has cost more than 4,400 lives in West Africa. The first person diagnosed with the disease in the U.S. died in a Texas hospital earlier this month.
