New Original Series ‘Bloodline’ Coming to Netflix

Netflix has not shied away from producing original programming once they realized they were really good at it, and now viewers have another new series from the network to look forward to, Bloodline

Bloodline, according to the network, is set in the Florida Keys and centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother returns home. The series, created and executive produced by Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman, and Glenn Kessler, stars: Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men), Sam Shepard (The Right Stuff), Sissy Spacek (Carrie), Norbert Leo Butz (Dan in Real Life), Jamie McShane (Sons of Anarchy), Jacinda Barrett (Suits) and Enrique Murciano (Without a Trace).

The teaser trailer gives virtually nothing away about the plot of the series, the only visual being a boat burning in the ocean, but the voiceover (“We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing.”) suggests that there’s a lot to be discovered about this family along with how and why that boat got there.

Bloodline will premiere in March 2015 on Netflix.
