‘Silver Linings Playbook’ Co-Stars Robert De Niro and Jennifer Lawrence to Reteam for Biopic

Robert De Niro is in talks to reteam with Jennifer Lawrence in a film about the inventor of the Miracle Mop.

The veteran actor is in negotiations to join his Silver Linings Playbook co-star and director David O. Russell for a film titled Joy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie recounts the real rags-to-riches tale about Joy Mangano, the woman who invented the Miracle Mop and became a millionairess after launching the cleaning product on American shopping network QVC.

Lawrence is set to play Mangano, but it has yet to be revealed what De Niro’s role would be.

In addition to his Oscar-nominated part in Silver Linings Playbook, De Niro also made a cameo appearance in American Hustle.
