Could a ‘Hocus Pocus’ Sequel Still Happen?

Bette Midler is encouraging fans of her hit 1993 comedy Hocus Pocus to bombard Disney bosses with demands for a sequel and it appears as if her fellow Sanderson Sisters agree!

The actress was answering questions from fans on Reddit when she revealed she would love to team up with former co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy for a follow-up to the spooky movie.

The film, based on three witches who are brought back from the dead by children on Halloween, proved a huge hit when it was originally released, and Midler is adamant fans should campaign for a sequel.

During the Reddit discussion, she wrote, “You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company… The ball’s in their court. Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a Hocus Pocus 2, ask the Walt Disney company.”

Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker have also spoken out about the idea of a sequel and they’re totally onboard!
