‘Dawson’s Creek’ Stars James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson Reunite

James Van Der Beek and his former Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua Jackson had an impromptu reunion in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The actors played onscreen best friends on the popular 1990s teen drama and Van Der Beek teased fans eager for a Dawson’s Creek reunion by posting a photo on Instagram.com showing himself alongside his old pal Jackson.

He added the caption, “The most pleasant run-ins can happen in the most unexpected places…”

While Van Der Beek previously stated there will most likely never be an official reunion due to creator Kevin Williamson’s disinterest in creating a follow-up, Williamson, along with writers from the series, will be coming back together at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas next year for a special panel.

Neither Jackson, Van Der Beek, or co-stars Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams, have signed up to participate in the event.

Dawson’s Creek ended its six-season run in 2003, so we’re way overdue for a reunion! We still have our fingers crossed that the series stars will make a surprise appearance at June’s ATX Television festival.
